Interview with Ivan

Tell us something about yourself, education, experience?

I‘m 35, graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Nis. A professional programmer since 2000, at Troxo since 2003. Currently I’m a Senior Software Architect.

What inspires you?

A pretty woman of course, but also NP complete problems, music, stars, silence and nature.

Why Troxo?

I got an offer I couldn’t say no to. Seriously, being a part of the Troxo team and the chance to work with my colleagues on various challenging problems always learning new technologies makes me happy at work.

What makes your job interesting?

Challenges all the time.

The best about Troxo?

Being able to work with companies all over the World. Also, Happy Friday, Team Building Days, Christmas presents for kids, etc.

What are you proud of?

Privately, there are many reasons to be proud of, my family, and my friends. But, if I think of things that happened at work a while ago I would say that I am proud of a spam filtering application I finished a few days ago. I think it’s one of the best ever built.

Your advice to the developers of the world?

Simply be patient and persistent.

If I weren’t a developer I would be?

An astronaut.

Photography.

Goal?

Quit smoking and lose 11 pounds at the same time.
